IPIA, the Irish Primary Immunodeficiency Association, with the objective of raising awareness for those living with PI joined forces with various hospitals to celebrate World Primary Immunodeficiency Week 2023. With the grant received from IPOPI, IPIA purchased different materials/merchandise to give to PI patients and distribute among the public who visited the stand in the hospitals during that week. We are happy to report that the event was a huge success and received positive feedback from both patients and hospital staff. We are already looking forward to planning and celebrating WorldPIWeek next year with the same enthusiasm and hope to continue spreading awareness about primary immunodeficiency.
